Only 2 spaces left!  Due to such a strong response to this first talk we have added a 2nd talk on Monday March 19th @ Utopia                Description: Join us for an intimate evening with Traditional Andean Healer Jhaimy Alvarez-Acosta from Cusco, Peru as he shares the wisdom teachings of the Andes and the ancient Inca traditions.  The Mesa is a powerful medicine bundle used for healing, growth and personal transformation that dates back thousands of years in the lineage of Curanderos (healers) in the Andes.  This evening will include an opening and closing prayer and there will be time for questions and answers. 
  

• Tuesday March 20th: Spring Equinox Despacho Offering & Healing Circle with special guests!                      6:30pm-9:30pm at the Liu Institute at UBC 6476 NW Marine Drive in Vancouver                                                             Description: The Despacho offering is one of the most ancient and important offerings in the Andes and is a form of saying THANK-YOU to Pachamama (Mother Earth). Combined with the group healing process through Andean energy work, meditation and sound, this Despacho offering is sure to be a powerful experience. Please feel free to bring a few items for the offering such as a flower/seeds/candies.   8:00pm-9:30pm at Sacred Space Studio (1/2 block East of Banyen Books)
  Suggested donation $10-20. A portion of all proceeds go towards Andean Projects in Peru.
  Description: An intimate evening gathering where Traditional Andean Healer Jhaimy Alvarez-Acosta from Cusco, Peru will share the perspective of the Andean teachings in relation to these monumental times that we are living in as we embrace and transition through the powerful energies of 2012.  Jhaimy will share wisdom teachings of the Serpent, the Puma and the Condor (Mind, Body, Spirit) and provide tools to assist in the harmonizing of these three energetic bodies in order to bring about balance, peace and a greater sense of "who you are" and "what you want" to express in your life and on this path of transformation through to the new Pachacuti (era of time and space) that is calling upon us as we all enter into this new state of consicousness for humanity and Mother Earth.  Email us at bookings@childrenofthe7rays.com to RSVP!

• Saturday March 24th: Andean Healing Techniques Workshop 11am-5pm at HeartQuest Healing Collective on       Commerical Drive in Vancouver) Reg. $175 Students/Elders: $95 Sign-up with a friend and save $25 each ($150 per person) Description: An intimate and unique opportunity to spend the full day with Jhaimy discovering traditional healing techniques from the Andes that can be used in a variety of situations to bring back balance to the mind, body and spirit.  Jhaimy will share ancient techniques including protection of the aura and working with the energetic channels within the body as well as clearing techniques for the home and work space. All levels of experience are welcome. This workshop may be of special interest to healing practitioners who work in other complimentary healing modalities.  Please bring something to place on the altar for the day in support of your personal process.  There will be an opening and closing prayer and time for questions and answers.  Please bring a bagged lunch as well.     Space is limited, please pre-register to secure your spot.
