Jhaimy Alvarez-Acosta- Andean Wisdomkeeper & special guest speaker
Jhaimy is a Traditional Curandero (Healer) from Cusco, Peru who has been trained and initiated in the wisdom teachings of the Northern region of Peru, home to the ancient lineage of the Sacred Plant medicine known as Wachuma or San Pedrito. Jhaimy began his initiation onto this path at a young age and has apprenticed with Master Teachers in the Alchemical mystery teachings of transformation and transmutation.
He is a founding member of the International Center for Consciousness Medicine and as a keeper of Ancient Wisdom has been invited to share his knowledge and lead ceremonies at conferences, workshops and specialized tours throughout Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Brazil and most recently in Spain and Sweden. He also holds a degree in Tourism from La Universidad Andina del Cusco and has presented lectures and public talks at Trent University as an invited guest of the Indigenous Studies Department.
He is a regular featured guest speaker in events across Canada and the USA as part of the Andean Wisdom Teachings series through Children of the Seven Rays and is best known for his heart-centered and humble approach to healing and spirituality.
Today, Jhaimy continues to be committed to the SERVICE OF LOVE and through ceremony, ritual and healing practices he supports people in moving past their limitations in order to liberate and connect with their heart and their purpose.
Starr Muranko Events Coordinator Starr was inspired to be a part of C7R as a means to share the Andean Wisdom Teachings globally while also creating Journeys of Transformation & community connections between the Eagle and the Condor. Community building and service for future generations has always been an important aspect of her work and expression in the world and she is excited about new opportunities for education through the building of a Healing and Educational Centre in the Andes of Peru.
As both a traditional and contemporary dancer and choreographer she brings with her a passion for the arts and the ability that creative expression has to inspire and transform individuals, families and communities. She is committed to supporting Indigenous peoples and the living expression of their cultures through the honouring of wisdom teachings, traditional ceremony, dance, music and story-telling and honours her mixed heritage of Metis, Cree and German in all of the many aspects of her work.
Martine Kleissen Bookings Coordinator & Events Assistant Martine has a deep love for all things culture and has graduated with a Degree in Anthropology from the University of Lethbridge. Her love of exploring the world has taken her on personal and transforming journey’s to Australia, Cuba, Ecuador, Spain, and Portugal. She connects deeply with South America and one day hopes to call it home. Her love of plants, animals and Spirit assist her in being centered, at peace, and true to her original being. She has been with Children of the 7 Rays since early 2011, and finds immense joy in assisting events and facilitating awareness geared towards uniting Condor and Eagle towards a bright and heart-filled future.
Martine believes that one soul can know
another by connecting heart to heart, throughout time and space,
without words. Her favorite quote comes from Rumi and follows; "When you
do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy."
Klara has a fruitful past of many skills, being once a copywriter,
family therapist, 12 step program facilitator and being trained in
management, leadership and non violent communication.
She previously was the writer and director of a film about
children of alcoholics, drugs and other addictions that she then used
to educate supervisors, educators and additional people working with
children about the effects and codependency of adult children of
alcoholics.
Klara is also a healer of over 25 years, who has worked with astrology, kabbalah and
quantum physics as well as started her own group the
Evoluntionary Enlightment with her brother and friend. A
mother of two daughters, her future goal is to settle down in Österlen
in the south of Sweden where she hopes to welcome Jhaimy and the Andean
Wisdom for people and groups wanting to participate and learn more about
spiritual and physical human cooperation, love, empathy and joy in
life.
Lorraine & Blair Martin Children's Education & Community Ambassadors Lorraine and Blair Martin are both members of Ayllu Kallpa in Vancouver, BC and are actively involved in many fundraising and community service initiatives with Children of the Seven Rays. Some of these projects include working with Jhaimy and autistic children in the Vancouver school system by applying Andean Healing principles combined with a whole lot of love as well as initiating the beginning phases of the Young Eagle & Condor Program with sister schools in North Vancouver and the community of Raatchi in the Andes of Peru. Both Blair and Lorraine are committed to creating community, seeing the oneness in all and working with others to create a beautiful world for future generations.
Carmen Machado Torralbo is a woman and mother of two children as well as the Director & Manager of three businesses dedicated to the world of data processing and recyling. She would describe herself as a sensitive woman that stands up for the rights of women and children as well as nature and animals. Since a very young age she would look up into the sky in the summer nights and ask what it was that she had come to do in this world and why she was here. She has always felt attracted to the world of Spirituality and Personal Growth and is constantly in search of what it means to BE, the equality of all human beings and the concept of the universe as one. Persistant and independent she is is committed to humane aid to developing countries and the problems of abuse & social indifference of women and children. “While this world continues to have the suffering of a single boy or girl that needs to be loved or held, I will continue to fight for them.” At present, Carmen also participates in the Circle of Women of Sabadell. For her, “Meditation is a freedom for the mind, the body and the spirit where I can feel in total harmony with all.”

Desde muy temprana y mirando el cielo estrellado en las noches de verano se preguntaba que había venido hacer a este mundo y porque estaba ella aquí. Miraba las estrellas fijamente y ellas les contaban que tenía mucho que hacer, que había venido a hacer su trabajo y que a lo largo de su vida iría descubriendo cual era su misión en esta vida.
Siempre se sintió atraída por el mundo de la Espiritualidad y el Crecimiento Personal en una búsqueda constante del SER, la igualdad de todos los seres humanos, y el concepto del universo como un TODO.
